Robbie Morris

About

Robbie Morris is a resident of Randolph County, having lived there since he was two years old. Morris is married to his wife, Whitney, and has two daughters, Elin and Tinley. He is a graduate of Elkins High School and West Virginia Wesleyan College where he received his Master’s in Business Administration. Morris is also a 2009 graduate of the prestigious Leadership West Virginia program.

In 2011 he became the Executive Director of the Randolph County Development Authority and West Virginia Wood Technology Center, where he is responsible for overseeing economic and workforce development efforts in Randolph County. Prior to the RCDA he was Executive Director of the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce.

Morris is very active in many different community organizations and has led or currently leads several of them, including: Immediate Past President of the West Virginia Economic Development Council, Chairman of the Corridor H Highway Authority, Chairman of the West Virginia Broadband Enhancement Council, and Treasurer of Leadership WV. Morris serves on the Board of Directors for the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, WV Hardwood Alliance Zone, and Mountain State Forest Festival. In 2017 Morris was named a “Young Gun” by West Virginia Executive Magazine as an up and coming leader in West Virginia.

In 2022 Robbie was recognized by The State Journal as a member of the “40 under 40”, which celebrates young professionals throughout the Mountain State. Throughout his career, Morris has dedicated work to improving the communities and economies throughout West Virginia.
